Jim Fahs has seen the home inspection business from both sides. He was a full time inspector for Young Home Consulting from 1995 to 1999. In November 1999 he purchased the assets of the company and opened business as Young Home Inspections.

Mr. Fahs' expertise has proven invaluable for his clients in both home inspections as well as construction supervision, where he oversaw the construction on behalf of clients building new homes.

Prior to joining Young Home Inspections in 1995, Jim was self-employed as a General Building Contractor in California where he built additions to homes. Jim has direct experience in all phases of construction including wood frame construction, sheathing, window and door installation, finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and earthquake retrofitting.

Whereas Mr. Fahs is licensed by the state of Florida as a Contractor and Building Inspector, Young Home Inspections can provide needed reports to insurance companies and lending institutions.

The 6th Judicial Circuit Court has approved Mr. Fahs as a Qualified Expert in Construction.
